Student Festival Gaudeamus 2018

Gaudeamus, the largest singing and dance festival for students in the Baltic States, will take place in Tartu from 22 to 24 June. The celebration will bring to Tartu more than 4,000 singers and dancers. The festival will be opened on 22 June on the shores of Emajõgi River, where a magnificent opening ceremony will take place. The dance festival will be held on 23 June at Tartu Tamme Stadium under the guidance of choreographer Rene Nõmmik. On 24 June, the song festival parade will start in front of the University of Tartu and end traditionally at the Tartu Song Festival Grounds, where a magnificent song festival will be held. The artistic director of the song festival is conductor Kuno Kerge.
