Sunlines tour of Naissaar mine depot and the history of the coastal folk

Swedish islanders lived on the island of Naissaar. They were pilots, seal hunters, and pirates. After World War II, the island was converted into a closed Soviet Union naval base.

The tour to Naissaar includes:
- a cruise to the island on the cruiser Katharina (duration 1 hour);
- a tour of the island in an armoured vehicle;
- mine depot (a top-secret Soviet Union military facility);
- the birthplace of the famous optician Bernhard Schmidt;
- a fortress (Sternschanz);
- Swedish St. Michael's Church and cemetery;
- narrow-gauge railway and a train ride for an extra fee.

We will take a break on the beautiful sandy beach. The tour includes a buffet lunch.
