Tallinn City Museum

Tallinn City Museum introduces city’s history from the 13th century until the present.
The museum is located in a medieval merchant dwelling, and through different pictures, sounds and items, you will get an idea of how people lived in Tallinn at different periods of time. Video and slide programs introduce revolutionary events in the 20th century.
When booked beforehand, we organise tours for groups of up to 25 people in Estonian, Russian, English, Finnish, Greek and German.

    Really rather enjoyed this museum when I visited with my husband. The ground floor and basement levels were a little disjointed, random military/weapons and pottery. But the upstairs 2 floors gave a...

  • Really interesting.

    It had something for everyone! There was history of rifles, ships and life. Even a display of junk from each century.

    Visit cost us 4€ pp (adult ticket) and was worth it- as a local I didn't realise there's a very decent amount of artefacts to see! A nice range of cultural heritage from medieval times to Soviet...
