Tallinn French School 100
Saturday 2.10.2021 at 17.00
Alexela concert hall
The concert-production "C'est une chanson ..." brings, with the help of music, poetry and dance, onto stage the two different life cycles of Tallinn French School, which celebrates its 100th birthday. The school, first opened in 1921 and then reopened in 1992, stayed closed for almost half a century. Each era of the school has been shaped by the rhythms surrounding it, the voices of students and teachers. The birthday of the school entering a new century coincides with the International Music Day. Maybe that's why it's like a song with a foreplay, verses and a chorus: c'est une chanson ...
On stage, together with the students and alumni, perform some co-travellers: professional musicians-actors alongside with young students experiencing their first performances on stage.
