In the Middle Ages, there were two towns on the site of modern-day Pärnu, Vana-Pärnu (Perona) and Uus-Pärnu (Embeck). The latter formed around the Pärnu castle that was mentioned in the records as early as in 1265. The fortified trade city belonged in the Hanseatic League.
During the tour, we will walk along the trail of the Medieval city walls of Pärnu. You will hear about how the city was built and what kind of houses and streets medieval Pärnu had.

The tour lasts about 1.5 hours.
