Theatre festival ‘Golden Mask in Estonia’

The theatre festival ‘Golden Mask in Estonia’ is one of the most outstanding cultural events, which unites both Estonian and Russian-speaking audiences. The festival programme includes the best Russian performances in recent seasons, which have been nominees or laureates for the Russian National Theatre Award ‘Golden Mask’.

The theatre festival ‘Golden Mask in Estonia 2018’ will be held in Estonia for the 14th time. This year, the festival will take place in Tallinn, Viljandi, Narva, and Sillamäe on 9–17 October. The best performances of recent years by Russian theatres will be performed. The main goal of the festival is to promote the relationships and contacts between Russian and Estonian theatres. To achieve this, specialised programmes, masterclasses, creative meetings, and discussions will take place.

All performances have simultaneous translation into Estonian.
