Tour of Baltic German manors

This tour introduces manors that belonged to many well-known Baltic Germans (the Von Stacklebergs, Von Uexkülls, and the Ungern-Sternbergs). Some manors are in ruins (Ungru castle) and falling apart, and some manors can only be viewed from the outside, but these grand manors are still worth visiting.
The Neo-Baroque Ungru Castle is almost an exact replica of the Merseburg Castle in Germany and the classical Riisipere Manor still amazes visitors with its former aristocratic grandiosity.
Many of the manors also offer accommodation.

It is good to start and end the tour in Tallinn.
