The trail is 6 km long, circular, marked with yellow spots on the trees. There are six information points with descriptions. The trail is partly on a boardwalk with footbridges. The trail is not maintained during winter. Visitors can see different forest types, landforms, and traces of the Soviet army.
Turn left, onto the gravel road, at the 30th kilometre of Jägala-Käravete Road (road No. 13). Then, continue for 400 meters until you see a signpost indicating the beginning of the nature trail next to the road. You can park your car next to the road. It is also possible to start the hike from the Sportland Kõrvemaa Hiking and Ski Centre, where you can also spend the night and eat. When coming from Tallinn, take Piibe Road and turn left about 200 meters after the 31st kilometre post. There, you will see the parking lot of the centre.
