This is a museum about occupations, resistance, restoration, and freedom. The permanent exhibition ‘Freedom knows no borders’ consists of five parts: crimes against humanity, Estonians in the free world, life in Soviet Estonia, restoration of independence, and freedom.

  • A real gem, but as yet flawed

    During my visit to the museum today (August 11th 2018) I was immensely pleased with some aspects of the experience, but unfortunately rather troubled by others. Undoubtedly the overall format is...

    I was hoping for easier access basic information as a non Estonian, it was ok but I had trouble following the events.. did make me think but I was hoping for more at 11 euros.
