Vabamu Museum of Occupations and Freedom

This is a museum about occupations, resistance, restoration, and freedom.
The permanent exhibition Freedom Knows No Limits consists of five parts:
‘Ebainimlikkus’, ‘Eksiilis’, ‘Nõukogude Eesti’, ‘Taastamine’, and ‘Vabadus’ (Inhumanity, In Exile, Soviet Estonia, Restoration, and Freedom).
We have e-guides in Estonian, Russian, English, Finnish, German, French, and Spanish, who will take you on an inclusive and thought-provoking journey on the paths of the recent past.
The special children’s exhibition tells stories to people of different age levels, providing memorable and exciting activities for the whole family.

    We were so disappointed with this museum. Although it is in a beautifully designed building, the displays and continuity of historical events were very confusing.

    While in Tallinn you need to visit The Occupation Museum. The audio guide is excellent and the virtual reality exhibit was super immersive.
