In early December 2023, for the second time in its history, the Vienna Strauss Philharmonic Orchestra will have tour in Estonia.
The basis of the collective repertoire are the masterpieces of Haydn, Brahms, Mozart, representatives of the Strauss dynasty and other classics.
The members of the orchestra are highly professional musicians from Vienna, as well as their colleagues from all over Europe.
Vienna Philharmonic Strauss Orchestra successfully tours Europe (in Germany, Romania, Poland, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria). The collective's activity is aimed at preserving and developing the musical culture of Vienna and its promotion at the European and international level.
The main conductor and one of the creators of the orchestra is András László Deák, an established maestro with a long successful career. In 1995, he was named one of the best Hungarian conductors at the Janos Ferenczyk International Television Competition for Conductors. András Deák performed in many famous concert halls with the world's leading orchestras:
with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra (Canada) at Jack Singers Hall (Calgary);
at the Orpheus Theater in Vancouver with the Vancouver Opera Orchestra;
at the Kennedy Center in Washington with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra;
in Chicago with the orchestra of the famous Chicago Lyric Opera.
