From web for trade professionals to cooperation with Bachtrack

The beginning of the year 2021 has been quite busy for Visit Estonia team. Here's an overview of the topics in February that could help you, dear honorary consuls, in introducing Estonia world-wide.

Visit Estonia for the trade professionals

Travel trade professionals keep asking the same type of questions and sending similar requests to destination representatives. Tourism trade professionals are tour operators, travel agents, travel wholesalers etc, who usually need visual materials, check statistics, look for local partners or just make the first steps in exploring the option of selling Estonia as a destination in their portfolio. To find their answers in one hub, we created a tool for them - a website that covers these topics. Whether it is a need of always trying to inspire the clients with beautiful pictures or quirky videos or our own need of making choosing Estonia very easy for a first-time tourism partner abroad.

Apart from its core purpose embassies, our Enterprise Estonia colleagues, fellow tourist boards, Estonian tourism companies and regional destination partners are also welcome to use it. At the moment the web for trade professionals is available in English and Finnish, during this spring it will also be available in German and Russian.

Cooperation with Bachtrack

Visit Estonia and the Estonian Ministry of Culture have started a co-operation with Bachtrack, the most internationally influential online environment for classical music, dance events and information. Since January Bachtrack's Estonian sub-page has been introducing Estonian classical music, focusing on orchestral and choral music videos, concert broadcasts, festival introductions, thematic articles and the very successfully started article series "Young Artists to Watch". The next steps will be updating and organising of information about concert venues.
