Millions of glances will be directed towards Tel Aviv soon, as Eurovision takes place there between 14 and 18 May. For Visit Estonia, this is a good opportunity to introduce Estonia more widely.
In addition to betting competitions, music reviews and costume dramas, Eurovision is one of the best ways to market a country. For a couple of weeks, all the countries that share a geographic proximity, values and history in a large picture are involved and connected. The event, its commercialistic vibe, the passing of the good old times may be addressed and argued, however, Eurovision continues to impress and link people of all ages and pursuing very different lifestyles.
Visit Estonia has just completed a beautiful video tour through Tallinn with Eurovision singer Victor Crone, who is from Sweden, but represents Estonia. The video introduces Tallinn from different exciting angles – the Old Town of Tallinn (the best preserved medieval old town in Europe), the coastline and harbours, excellent restaurants, Telliskivi Creative City, where the famous Fotografiska museum will be opened in June, as well as the historic industrial area called Rotermann in the heart of Tallinn, and much more.
View the video, share it on your own channels and cheer Estonia on!
