This is a circular trail and provides information about the activities of the Northern Camp (Petseri Northern Camp, established in 1926 -a camp of the Defence Forces of the Republic of Estonia). The trail can be accessed from the log cabins at Luige and Värska as well as from the stadium by Värska Co-Ed Secondary School. There are a number of bridges with staircases over small rivers, meaning that access for pushchairs and prams is restricted.

The trail winds its way around Lake Õrsava and along Värska Creek, offering delightful views over the lake. There are a number of State Forest Management Centre rest areas along the trail where you can barbecue and picnic. There is a children's playground with various attractions by the stadium.
