Tobrova Tsässon

Tsässon is a special type of Seto church which has received its name from a saint or a religious holiday and is still very important for the religious traditions that have survived the test of times.

Tobrova Easter Tsässon is located in the village of Tobrova 4 km from Obinitsa. The well-preserved Tsässon was built in 1932 and its exterior has remained nearly unchanged.

in the close proximity of the Tsässon in Tobrova village (first mentioned in 1561)you will find the Luikjärve farmstead belonging to the Obinitsa Museum and currently undergoing renovation; this is the only surviving fortress-type farm in the area that has remained intact along with its characteristic buildings, closed courtyard, partitioning fences and a high gate.
