Sutlema Manor

The knight manor is from the 15th century, the main building from the 17th century. A baroque ensemble in an unconventionally designed park with a gorgeous barbican and a unique system of ponds.

A visitor and cultural centre called Rändava Kunstniku Kodu (home of the travelling artist) operates at the manor. The main exhibitions include paintings by G. Welte, G.A. Hippius, O. Ignatius, and C. Walther. Additionally, there are thematic exhibitions and events. We also have the so-called Sunday painters.

Come and try painting in the historic environment!

Our services include: Demonstration of the cultural heritage objects at the Hageri Parish, concerts of ancient music, dressing up as historical persons (costume rent), hikes in the nature, and photo hunt.
