Alatskivi Cultural Heritage Landscape and Nature Centre

Alatskivi Landscape Reserve was established in 1964 to protect the Alatskivi Park and Valley, as well as the regional cultural heritage landscapes.
It is near Lästeniidu esker, Kooljamägi Hill and the bed of Kalevipoeg, Lokutamägi Hill, Alatskivi Hillfort, the Red Spring, the Oak of Faithfulness, Alatskivi Castle Park, and the Deer Garden. The Lahepere bird observation tower is just 4 km from here.

The nature centre, located in the granary of Alatskivi Castle, is inspired by the picturesque surroundings and includes exciting exhibits on nature. You can also find information about the local nature here.

A hiking trail starts at the nature centre, which can be visited alone or with a guide (upon booking).
