Ahja jõe ürgoru maastikukaitseala-KIIDJÄRVE LOODUSKESKUS, Kiidjärve küla, Põlva vald, Põlva maakond
This trail has a surprising amount of features characteristic of the South-Estonian region: the twisting Hatiku stream, wonderful views of the Ahja River and sandstone outcrops, the only marsh (Linajärve) on the banks of the Ahja River primeval valley, and drawings introducing small mammals.
The trail is marked with orange patches on tree trunks. The trail has moderate technical complexity: it is easy at times, but there is a risk of slipping on the steep slopes. The trail is only suitable for walking.
Coming from Tartu to Põlva: 10 km before Põlva, turn left towards Kiidjärve at the Kiidjärve intersection. Drive 4 km along the Akste–Häätaru tee (road number 18138). 0.6 km after the Kiidjärve Park bus stop, there is a parking lot for the RMK Kiidjärve Visitor Centre on the left. The trail starts from the car park, going from the highway opposite the visitor centre to the forest trail before the bridge.
