Estonia is a unique place where you can both step back in time and jump forward into the future. While being a hub for startups and tech innovations, Estonia's capital also boasts the best-preserved medieval centre in Northern Europe. Members of Latvia's well-known band Brainstorm came to the Tallinn Old Town to try time travelling the #EstonianWay.

Day one

To get a sense of the age of the Old Town, visit the Town Hall Pharmacy (Raeapteek). First mentioned in 1422, it’s the oldest continually operating apothecary in Europe. Check out medicines from the 17th to 20th centuries and try a sip of claret – a red wine with healing herbs and spices. Then head across the Town Hall Square to Olde Hansa, a merchant’s house turned restaurant, for an evening of Hanseatic dining.
