Chamber Choir Voces Musicales, which in 2015 received the annual music award of the Estonian Culture Endowment for its high-level concerts, has asked Stephen Layton to join them at this year’s All Saints’ Day concerts. Stephen Layton, Director of Music of Trinity College, Cambridge, who besides conducting the high profile choir there, has gained great appreciation for working with various groups around the world: Polyphony, Holst Singers, the Netherlands Chamber Choir, Danish National Vocal Ensemble etc. The programme of the one-hour concert includes Italian renaissance: Tomàs Luis de Victoria’s  mass, motet "O quam gloriousum" and "Magnificat primi toni", in addition to that, Gregorio Allegri’s  famous “Miserere”. What is more, Veljo Tormis’ “Jaanilaul” will be performed to commemorate the composer, whose works have long inspired both the choir and Stephen Layton.
