Muhu Ostrich Farm

Ostrich keeping began here on Laasu Farm in 1999. In addition to ostriches, the farm also raises emus who are renowned for their red meat and valuable fat, which is used for cosmetic products and food.
Kangaroos, alpacas, and ponies also live on the farm, but only as pets. There is a cafe in the garden in summer offering dishes made of local ingredients.
Children really enjoy feeding corn grains to the ostriches from their hand.
Good to know: even an adult human can stand on an ostrich egg without breaking it. The farm offers a unique opportunity in Estonia to see zebras and red kangaroos.
