See photos (7) The four-metre Rannajõe Observation Platform offers a view of the extensive meadow area, which is a special experience in the spring when the floodplain grasslands are flooded with water. Then, thousands of geese, swans, and dabbler ducks stop here. In the summer, several waders and passerines nest here. You might also encounter reindeers and wild goats looking for food. The Rannajõe Observation Platform and a 110 cm wide wooden path leading to it are suitable for people in wheelchairs as well (the tower has a ramp).
At the beginning of the boardwalk, there is an information board about the water meadow.
Wheelchair access
On the 20th kilometre of Haapsalu-Laiküla highway, turn right after Martna crossroads. Drive straight along the narrow gravel road for 700 m and you will reach the boardwalk leading to the observation tower.
