“Quiz – How well do you know Estonian sounds?” campaign rules

1. "Quiz – How well do you know Estonian sounds?" (hereinafter the campaign) is a fun consumer game that lasts from 28 March to 31 May 2022 and is organised by Enterprise Estonia (registry code 90006012, Hobujaama 4, 10151 Tallinn, hereinafter the organiser), which is the chief processor of personal data within the campaign.

2. The prize for the quiz in other languages (English, Finnish, German, Russian, Swedish, Latvian, Lithuanian and Polish) is a 2 day trip to Estonia worth 900 euros.

As Estonia's largest city, Tallinnhas a fast-changing and diverse cultural life with an atmosphere full of contrast (where else could you see a glass and steel skyscraper looking over medieval roofs?). Its compact space attracts thousands of tourists every year.

Pärnu is the largest municipality in Estonia, with an area of 858.07 km². By the way, the largest city in Germany, Berlin, is about the same size (892 km²). Pärnu's area coverage leaves behind such big cities as Milan, Athens, Vienna, Buenos Aires, Barcelona, Toronto and Hamburg, as well as Copenhagen, Stockholm and Amsterdam. Despite its large area, there are only 60 inhabitants per square kilometre!
Like other Estonian resort towns, the city of Pärnu, having had the summer capital title since 1996, became well-known in the 19th century. The historic beach park with its fountains and playgrounds offers a pleasant holiday for visitors of all ages and the beautiful promenade is ideal for a walk.

The prize trip includes:

  • Round-trip plane tickets for two from a European airport to Tallinn and back.
  • An overnight stay for two in a standard room in the Palace Hotel Tallinn with breakfast and access to the sports and relaxation area.
  • An overnight stay for two in the Villa Ammende hotel in Pärnu.
  • Dinner for two with a sea view in the Purpur restaurant located in Tervise Paradiis, where you can give your taste buds a pleasurable experience with the delicacies prepared by head chef Kairit Akker.
  • A visit to the Hedon SPA & Hotel Pacific Spa for two, offering relaxing spa rituals where you can take time off and relax your body and mind from your daily routine.
  • There is also a seasonal hike in the heart of the mostly untouched bogs and marshes of Soomaa National Park. Snowshoeing, canoeing and tobogganing are available.
  • The package also includes a rental car, convenient for exploring Pärnu.

The prize for the Estonian quiz is a 1 day trip for two to Hiiumaa worth up to 400 euros.

Hiiumaa is one of the oldest islands in the world, as a meteorite collision 455 million years ago created an archipelago nearly ten kilometres in diameter near the present-day Kärdla. Some say the island today is shaped like a cross. The name Hiiumaa probably comes from the Estonian name for sacred forests, hiid. The same word can also mean giants.

The prize trip includes:

  • An overnight stay for two in the Tiisman Villa. The Tiisman Villa is a stately, newly renovated, tastefully furnished mansion-style holiday home with a long history. The small and quiet getaway in the heart of the city is a great place to relax, offering enough privacy while still having everything you need within walking distance. The Central Square with its shops, ATMs and eateries is just a 5-minute walk away. The sports centre, stadium and tennis courts are 500 metres away. The Kärdla beach and marina is just a kilometre away.
  • A one-hour excursion for two in the Windtower Experience Centre. As Hiiumaa itself is very diverse with its colourful nature, culture and sea, so is the Windtower. It is both a science museum and an entertainment spot. The Windtower has a permanent exhibition on six floors to explore the island's mysterious waters and fascinating nature. The visitors should be ready for some interesting humour as well. The Windtower also has the highest indoor climbing wall in the Baltics at 20 metres tall, with 11 tracks.
  • Dinner for two at the Lest & Lammas restaurant. Just a little ways from Käina is Estonia's fifth largest island Kassari, which the natives treat as part of Hiiumaa. Located in the heart of Kassari Island, at the beginning of Sääretirp, there is a restaurant that offers high-quality dishes made from fresh ingredients and local cuisine. Freshly caught fish, mutton and other meat dishes are the highlights of the menu. It's nice to sit outside on the terrace or under the shelter in fine summer weather.
  • The package also includes a rental car, convenient for exploring Hiiumaa.
