A short drive from the capital city Tallinn lands you in this small town of Rakvere in northeastern Estonia. Here you can stroll in the nature, take a spa break and catch one of the popular pop-up markets.

17/11 - Buduaar LIVE market emerged from a local online fashion forum for exchanging and selling clothing items. Today, the market hosts local designers and a programme of hip entertainment.

24/11 - 25/11 - Big fair of St Catharine is a fair of traditional Estonian goods, such as mittens, socks, wooden utensils - you name it.

Fama Keskus

This shopping centre is located further down the road to eastern Estonia.
The best known annual event here is the Night of Wonders, offering a 20% discount sale as well as special prize draws and an entertainment programme. Usually it starts at 8pm and ends around midnight with fireworks.

Tartu Kaubamaja

Tartu Kaubamaja is the place to shop in the university town of Tartu in southern Estonia. Here you'll find high street brands such as Dr. Martens, Kurt Geiger, Marc Cain, Lloyd, Tosca Blu Studio etc. Lucky for you, Tartu Kaubamaja has not one but three sales this season.

01/10 - 07/10 - Osturalli is perhaps the most well known sale in Estonia, and literally translates as "shopping rally".

07/11 - Ostlejate Pidupäev translates as "buyers' festive day", and it's worth a celebration - all shops are open until 10pm, offering discounts of 20-30% off seasonal goods.

23/11 Black Friday sale - you are in luck if it happens to be your birthday on the 23rd, as you'll get 10% off your purchase.

A local shopping centre in Pärnu goes on full Christmas mode this December.

07/12 - 09/12 - Childrens' Toy Fair and Jäärmark - If you're looking to check off Christmas presents for the little ones from your to-do list in just one day, Children's toy fair is place to go. While at it, check out Jäärmark, where up and coming young entrepreneurs sell their goods.

17/12 - 24/12 Handicraft Fair - good old Estonian traditional arts and craft fair, with a programme of entertainment to get you in the festive spirit.
