Tallinn Music Week is much more than a music festival. Cuisine, art, design, film, lectures - it's a citywide celebration of talent and creativity, named one of Europe's best festivals of the season.

Tallinn Music Week (TMW) has been happening each spring since 2009. This year over 200 local and international musical artists will perform on stages across the city, but there is much more to experience throughout the week than just music. The amount of sub-programmes and events can feel delightfully overwhelming, so here's a guide to help you get the most out of Tallinn Music Week!

In addition to TMW's own pop-up restaurant, hungry festival goers can savour special menus and discounts at 32 local restaurants. If you're craving something out of the ordinary, attend a "Trash Cooking Dinner" on March 29th or 30th for a gourmet meal made of ingredients that would normally be discarded by supermarkets.

For documentary buffs: TMW Films

Diverse and expressive films are screened March 27th - 30th at the regal Sõprus Cinema in central Tallinn. Hear lectures from the filmmakers and get a chance to ask your burning questions.
