Wittenstein Activity Museum

The Activity Museum of Wittenstein Time Centre in Paide was completed in summer 2022. It takes the visitors back to the 19th century through authentic small town environment, exciting activities and objects, and unique digital solutions. Here you can explore the pharmacy of the 19th century, have a look at the first photograph taken in Estonia and have a picture taken of yourself as well, dissect a corpse in the district doctor Hesse's treatment chamber, and visit beer and food chamber dedicated to food. A medicines shop and craftsmen's chambers are open for visiting. A blacksmith, a carpenter and a handicraftsman teach you the skills characteristic of the era. Sweets are made in the sweets chamber.
You can book a degustation of elixirs and participate in the ointment making workshop in the pharmacy.
