Car-Free Avenue (Autovabaduse puiestee)

Vabaduse puiestee in the heart of Tartu will become a pleasant city space for leisure time by July – the Car-Free Avenue. For a month, the street will only be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The aim of the Car-Free Avenue is to enliven the city centre, better connect the Emajõgi River and the city centre, offer great leisure opportunities, support local business, bring different generations together, and strengthen the sense of community.

There are activities for children, young people, adults, as well as the elderly and people with different interests.
