Niguliste tänav 3, Kesklinna linnaosa, Tallinn
The guided tour in Danish, led by Külli Kõiv, will introduce masterpieces of Estonian medieval and early modern ecclesiastical art.
The permanent exhibition of the Niguliste Museum displays the most remarkable and valuable works of the medieval and early modern ecclesiastical art of Estonia. Most of the works of art originate from the church itself and are displayed in their original locations. The best-known work in the museum is the Dance of Death from Bernt Notke's workshop. A 7.5-metre-long piece of the original work, completed at the end of the 15th century, has survived.
