See photos (5) Tartu County's Health Sports Centre, located in the middle of Elva pine forests, offers many opportunities for active leisure. There is the largest and most famous health sports trail there, i.e. Tartu Marathon's trail, which awaits athletes and nature lovers at any time of the year to do sports and enjoy physical activities. In winter, well-maintained ski tracks start in front of the Health Sports Centre, where the finish line of Tartu Marathon is located.
The ski tracks are lit for 800 meters. The length of the ski tracks on Tartu Marathon's trail is 63 km.

Wheelchair access
When driving from Tartu, Valga or Viljandi, head from the highway to the centre of Elva and turn off to Puiestee Street at Elva Shopping Centre. After crossing the railway, drive straight until the cemetery, from where you have to drive the last kilometre of the forest road over Pulga Stream and along Vaikne Lake. Coming from Võru, Põlva and Otepää, turn to Elva at Pangodi. After crossing Elva River, turn left three times and you will have reached the right road via Lootuse and Vaikne Streets. Coming to Elva by train or bus, you can get there from the railway station along Vaikne or Pargi and Puiestee Streets.
