Jurna Recreation Farm in Saaremaa has hosted hunters from all around Europe as well as local hunting societies already for 17 years. Hunters mainly come to hunt in Saaremaa for billy-goats, buck, and deer, the hunting seasons for whom start on 1 June, 1 September, and 15 September, respectively. Bird hunting (goose, duck) from 20 August to 31 October is also very popular. The hunters can keep the birds they shot. The minimum length of the stay is 2 hunting days. The maximum number of days depends on the hunters’ wishes and the agreement made with the local hunting club. As hunting prices are different for different animals, the model price of 655 euros is for hunting billy-goat and includes 3 nights of accommodation, breakfast, 2 lunches and 2 dinners, 3 visits to the sauna, and the hunting organiser’s service for 2 days.
