MUUSEUMI, Varbuse küla, Kanepi vald, Põlva maakond
In July 2019, the exciting permanent exhibition called 'Controlling machines' (Masinate valitsemine) was opened in the new Machinery Hall of the Road Museum. The idea behind the exhibition is the contradictory power relationship between cars and their drivers. The museum is 48 km from Tartu, 22 km from Võru, and 12 km from Põlva. When coming from Tartu, take Võru maantee to Reola intersection and turn left onto Põlva maantee. Once you reach the county border of Liiva (Põlva County sign), turn right onto the old Tartu–Võru highway or Postitee. On the narrow Postitee, you will drive through Vooreküla, Karilatsi, and Ihamaru villages. Cross the Ihamaru intersection and in five kilometres, you will arrive at the Road Museum.
