Räpina city tour

View on map

Räpina is a beautiful city with an interesting history. It is also home to the longest river in Estonia – the Võhandu River. The past and the present are intertwined in Räpina.
Räpina is not only the most important timber, wood, and paper industry centres in South-Eastern Estonia, but also an outstanding cultural and educational centre. We have, for example, the Räpina Paper Factory, which is the oldest operating industrial company in Estonia and one of the oldest operating paper factories in Europe, and Sillapää Castle, which was built by several generations and now houses the Räpina Local History and Gardening Museum and Räpina School of Horticulture, which was founded as early as in 1924.
